At our last Parent Teacher Conferences that we had for our children the teachers were asked by the district to give each parent a survey to fill out before we left. As you see and read the survey please feel free to comment on what you think about it. We need parent input.

Who had time to completely read this at the conferences when there was a teacher to talk to about grades on the report card, as well as, a "jump rope" report card for P.E. to look at? Then, not to mention, another paper to sign on whether we would be there or not next year. Besides it was just a SURVEY, not a VOTE! They should have let the parents take it home, read it, and then decide! I know for a fact that Lewis and Clark's numbers on the survey's were not right. Our 5th graders were polled even though they won't be there next year. Some parents filled out more than one survey. I demand that they do an actual vote, one per family, the correct way!!!
ReplyDeleteMy child's teacher showed it to me and explained that it was a survey to see how many parents would be willing to consider a uniform. This form looks like a bikini to me, I didn't understand that I needed to read between the lines too.
ReplyDeleteI have understood that 09-10 for Elementary, 10-11 Elementary and Middle School, 11-12 Elementary, Middle School and the High School. Can the committee or the school board confirm this for us? Is this the plan?
This is the plan to implement the uniforms for this coming fall 2009-2010
